The Beginning of the Next Chapter

Things are changing around here. I knew exactly where my life was going and how I was getting there. But you know that saying about when we make plans God laughs. Well, He must have been laughing pretty hysterically at my plans.

Before we jump into the next chapter I think it would be fitting to start with a summary of the first few chapters to bring everyone up to speed.

I was born in the North and moved to the South about half way through my raising. Although I try top cling to my Northern routes some I am pretty much all Southern. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have a beautiful little girl who just started school. :-o

Also, until recently I was a business owner with a steadily growing small business. I absolutely loved what I did and it was a hard decision to let it go. But God has different plans for me and I know His will is where I need to go.

So that is a very short summary that brings us to the beginning of the next chapter. This next chapter starts with me heading back to school in January to start my pre-reqs for nursing school! I'm extremely excited about this next phase of my life. It was hard to let go of the business that I loved but ever since I made that final step to let it go I have felt so at peace.

I wanted to start a blog for several reasons. I really want to document this stage of my life as well as my families life. I also really enjoyed blogging for my business so I figured I shouldn't stop just because the business did. I also think life is funny when you take the time to write things down and stories about real life can make us laugh, make us cry and give us hope. Even if my stories only make me laugh and cry they will be worth the time spent.
