Until just a few minutes ago I was pretty sure I was going to go ahead and take the CNA class and look for a job. It would definitely be a great foot in the door for nursing school and a future job but the most important thing right now is my pre-reqs. The CNA jobs at the hospital I would like to work at are all 12 hour shifts. There is no way I can work 12 hours take 12-15 hours of classes and sleep!
They have one opening for a weekend temp position so I'm still considering it. The CNA class I want to take is a little expensive. By the time I add in all the expenses it will be over $1,000. That's $1,000 I wasn't planning on spending next week.
I'm probably going to sleep on it for a little while and do a little more research. There is another class starting next month so I can take some time to figure things out -and save some money!
